New Homes Sales are Alive & Well

Steinborn & Associates Real Estate's New Homes Division is the largest builder services division of any real estate firm in Southern New Mexico. The New Homes Division is currently responsible for the sales and marketing of more than 21 new home, townhome and mixed use development builders or communities throughout the greater Las Cruces region.

The New Homes Division was launched in December 2009, in recognition that new home construction, sales and marketing is a unique specialty within residential real estate and that home buying customers and builders deserve REALTORS® who are specialized and well trained.

Steinborn's New Homes Division, as a part of Steinborn & Associates Real Estate is a member of the National Association of Home Builders

(NAHB) and the Building Industry Association of Southern New Mexico (BIA). They are also proud members of  the Hispano Chamber, Green Chamber and Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce as well as the first state & regional members of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.

With a strong commitment to its home buying customers, builders, developers, REALTORS® and cooperating REALTORS® within the community, the New Homes Division in partnership with the Real Estate Institute, continually strengthens its commitment to education. Steinborn's New Homes Sales Division brings to Las Cruces some of the nation's most progressive and advanced instructors for new homes sales training, education and certifications.

Based on MLIS Data, over 200 New Homes will have been sold in Las Cruces in 2011 and things are Looking Up for 2012!

As of the writing of this article, permits for housing construction nationally have climbed signaling an uptick in optimism among homebuilders. If the glut of foreclosures starts thinning and demand picks up, the jump in permits could translate into a rise in new construction in coming months. Still, permits and construction have both increased significantly from a year ago. Housing starts nationally are up 16.5% from the same month (October) a year ago, and building permits are up 17.7%.
